Our martial arts program covers every component of fitness. You will improve cardio, strength, agility, flexibility and endurance areas of fitness through our classes.

It truly is a ‘total’ body workout!

There is no other workout that is so complete and engagin!

One of the best parts of our program is that every student is treated as an individual, and will progress at their ow rate.

Each student’s progress isn’t measured against other students, but rather against their own previous performance!

So even students that aren’t as physically fit as the star quaterback on the football team, can have a wonderful experience in our program, and become stronger, fitter and more flexible.

The great thing about our program is, everyone is treated as an individual.

We have students as young as 3 or 4 and as old as 94.

Since every person is different, the best (and really ONLY) way to see if our program is a good fit for you, is to take advantage of one of our WEB SPECIALS and try it for yourself!

Our program is FUNDAMENTALLY different!

In a typical ‘exercise’ program, you may be getting a good workout, but you’re really not ‘learning’ much of anything.

Our programs will not only keep you excited and motivated because of the  high energy nature of our instruction that always keeps the class fresh, and interesting but you’ll also be learning real practical skills that could one day save your life.

Our students find this learning process incredibly engaging, and challenges them to truly “master” their technique. I guess this is the reason our students stick with our program while previous workouts have failed them.

We know how busy your life is, so our program is designed for the ‘busy’ person! Students can make exciting progress by attending classes an average of twice a week.

Some students will want to attend more classes, and that’s great, we have options for that!

My boys love Taekwondo at Nixa! They are 7 and 5 and have been going for over 3 months now. Master Yong Jin is SO amazing with them and all the kids! I can see their confidence growing and I also love that they teach my boys respect and responsibility too! Its been a huge help at home :) I have already referred some of my friends that joined shortly after. They also love it. One last thing worth mentioning is that we had my son's 5th birthday party there and it was literally the BEST party ever! So many of the parents complimented me and the studio. The kids had a blast and the Master made it beyond special for my little guy. I can't recommend Nixa enough!

Nixa is a perfect fit for our family! The instructors have very high expectations and they create an environment where students want to be and are successful. I always thought of martial arts as an individual pursuit, but at Nixa every student is invested in the success of everyone else. Seeing kids cheering, and chanting, and crossing their fingers for their friends' Tae Kwon Do success is more investment in the team than I've seen in any sport, including more traditional team sports. My daughter had such a positive experience working toward her first belt, that when she asked me to join with her it was an easy decision. I've had a great time learning new skills and building camaraderie among they other adults in class. In a short time Tae Kwon Do changed from something my daughter wanted to try, to a family commitment we're eagerly and happily looking forward to studying for a long time.

A great school. I wished I had found it sooner. The instructors are top notch. They are friendly, encouraging and highly experienced. I would recommend anyone of any level or age to try this school. You are made to feel welcome from the start. I have trained at various other schools in different styles and I feel that these instructors encourage and can train anyone at any level to reach higher levels of mental and physical fitness, develop Martial arts skills, self discipline and respect.

Great taekwondo studio in Orange County. Master Yu and Master Park are great with kids and have a great adult program as well. My kids have had to switch studios a couple of times due to us moving but I can say that we truly lucked out with this one. Both masters are strict, kind and patient. Would definitely recommend!

Just tried Nixa Martial Arts Institute as a family activity- my 4 year old did Little Tigers and my husband, 6-year-old son, and I did the family and adult all belt class. I asked my kids if they had a fun night, they said “No Mom, we had an AWESOME night!” The location is great, very clean and all of the Masters so friendly and knowledgable. We were challenged all night long. Thanks Nixa!
